Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC Plasma cutting machines for accurate and efficient plate cutting.
- Set up the machine according to job requirements, material specifications, and cutting parameters.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting layouts.
- Ensure proper cutting dimensions, tolerances, and quality as per approved drawings.
- Handle and process MS (Mild Steel) and SS (Stainless Steel) plates as per production requirements.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting during operations.
- Check finished components for dimensional accuracy and cutting quality.
- Maintain proper records of production and material usage where required.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with the production and fabrication team to complete jobs within the required timelines.
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance as instructed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in CNC Plasma machine operations.
- Good knowledge of CNC controls and machine operation.
- Ability to read and understand technical and fabrication drawings.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS and SS plate cutting processes.
- Understanding of cutting parameters, plate thickness, and material handling.
- Ability to identify and rectify basic operational issues.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cutting accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Educational Qualification
Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualification.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fabrication, or a related technical trade is preferred.
- We are looking for someone with 4-5 years of experience in CNC Plasma operations.
- Good knowledge of CNC Controls.
- Able to read technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of MS, SS plate cutting process is a must.
